Larry Gould |
|
Left-winger Larry Gould
played a pair of games
for the Vancouver
Canucks in 1973-74. His
offensive prowess was
more apparent during a
fine amateur and minor
pro career. |
|
Born in Alliston,
Ontario,
Larry Gould scored 56
goals in three seasons
with the Hamilton Red
Wings and Niagara Falls
Flyers of the OHA. He
signed as a free agent
with Vancouver after
registering 84 points in
73 games for the IHL's
Des Moines Capitols in
1972-73. |
|
Following his brief
tenure in the NHL, Gould
bounced around the WHL,
CHL and North American
League before settling
down in the "I". He
enjoyed five excellent
years with the Port
Huron Flags and topped
the 30-goal mark four
times. He was named to
the IHL first and second
all-star teams once
each. Gould retired in
1982 after spending his
last year in the league
with the Muskegon
Mohawks and the Flint
Generals. |
