On April
29th, 2006, Kevin
Lord, one of Beeton’s most
skilled and noted Ball Hockey
Players, passed away after a
courageous battle against
cancer. Kevin was a dedicated
player, team mate and friend to
many in both the Ball Hockey
(BBHL) and Beeton Ice Hockey
(BAA) organization. Kevin
started his hockey career in
Beeton before moving to higher
levels. He set the bench mark
for participation, dedication
and sportsmanship. His smile,
competitive spirit and
contribution will be truly
missed….but his memory will be
with us always.
